Say NO to EVE TEASING !

Generation of 2015,
Less of old and more of teen......
Raised in a society of freedom and justice,
Why are people still surviving with injustice???

Ever since childhood,we are taught to respect,
But do all think from the same aspect???
Safe our city is what we believe,
But its not even during the day nor in the eve.....

When a girl is related to you, she needs to be protected,
But what about other women who ought to be respected???
As the day dawns,it gets more dangerous,
If girls dont fight back,reasons get obvious.....

Guys think they can tease anyone they want,
But what about the guilt that will later haunt?
Its better to live and let live,peace be with all,
Say no to eve teasing,be a woman or a girl small.....

As a girl, I salute all who raise their voice,

Who know that fighting back is also in their choice,
Say no to eve teasing and raise above all,
Respect every woman right since you crawl !

A wonderful pre aakanksha week

9th day of Feb when the week began,
Set up with all preparation as soon as one can.......
Being the batch this year of the organising committee,
Inauguration was done by our highest dignitary.......

The ribbon was cut and the lamp was lit,
Going as per decided as time did permit.....
First day with cleanliness drive and tree plantation,
Followed the next day by a century of blood donation.......

Tradition is what Terna always gives preference,
Leaving no room to create difference.......
So was the day the traditional  day,
The attire of each was out of the way.......

Next came up the hashtag day,
When juniors wrote confessions they couldnt say.......
Truthful, decent and wise was all it was,
Every question ended with a round of applause.......

Friday the 13th a presumed unlucky day,
Was a day of message Ternaites wanted to say......
The only way we thought to spread the word,
Was by a flashmob showing a message that all heard....

Valentines day a day to spread love,
Peace all over like a shiny white dove.....
Roses were too common to celebrate it,
So chocolates were the best to dedicate it.....

This was how this week came to an end,
Enjoyed a wonderful PRE AAKANKSHA week,
From start till the end.......
